Kelechi Ogueji is a thesis-based Master's student in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, focusing on low-resourced Natural Language Processing (NLP) for African languages under the supervision of Prof. Jimmy Lin.
With a background as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at InstaDeep, Kelechi conducted research and applied machine learning techniques to solve problems in diverse industries like E-commerce, Telecommunications, and Biotechnology.
Kelechi holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial and Production Engineering with Second-Class Upper Division (Honours) from the University of Ibadan and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo.
