Keith Faria
Keith Faria is a talented Energy Risk Professional with a strong background in energy markets, business strategy, power trading, private equity, and wind & solar energy project development, interconnection and transmission. With an MBA from Yale University's School of Management and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, he has a multi-disciplinary knowledge base and the skills necessary to tackle complex business problems.
Faria began his career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Horizon Wind Energy and later held various teaching assistant roles at the University of Texas at Austin, where he also served as a Graduate Research Assistant. He also worked as a Long-Term Power Analyst and later as a Senior Power Modeling Analyst at Direct Energy. Afterward, he served as a Transmission and Interconnection Analyst at EDP Renováveis before joining Javelin Capital as an Associate. Today, he is a Senior Associate at Javelin Capital and a former Fellow at Clean Energy Leadership Institute.
Faria's broad skillset comprises risk management, commercial development, financial analysis, valuation, project management, regulatory policy, forecasting, and more.
