Keala Chan

Keala Chan is a seasoned patent attorney with a strong background in prosecuting patent applications, representing clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and advising on the development, licensing, and enforcement of intellectual property portfolios.

With a comprehensive educational foundation including a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Math from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a J.D. from New York University School of Law, Keala brings a diverse skill set to her practice.

Currently serving as the Senior Director of Patents at Click Therapeutics, Inc., Keala has previously held positions as a Partner at Chan Hubbard, an Associate at Quinn Emanuel, and an Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.

In addition to her role in patent prosecution, Keala excels in negotiating licenses, product agreements, co-marketing arrangements, and joint venture agreements, showcasing her versatility and expertise in various facets of intellectual property law.
