Kayla Messamore

Kayla Messamore is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in strategic planning and operations.

She holds a Doctor of Law - JD from The University of Texas School of Law, a Master of Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a BBA in Engineering Route to Business from The University of Texas at Austin.

Kayla has held various leadership roles at Evergy, including Vice President, Strategy and Long-Term Planning, Sr. Director, Long-Term Planning, Director, Long-Term Planning, and Sr. Manager, Operations Strategy & Innovation.

Prior to her tenure at Evergy, she was a Senior Associate at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) and gained experience in strategic consulting.

Her professional journey also includes roles as an Associate at Strategy&, Project Analyst at BestODM, Database Administrator at Eastside Community Connection, and Student Ministry Intern at University United Methodist Church.
