Kay Swinburne

Dr Kay Swinburne, known as Baroness Swinburne of Llandysul, is a prominent figure with a wealth of experience in financial services and global regulation, particularly focused on emerging technologies.

With a background as a former MEP (2009-2019), she played a significant role in shaping European financial legislation, contributing to key files such as EMIR, MiFID II, CSDR, and Banking Union.

Her career includes roles as Vice Chair of Financial Services at KPMG in the UK and Chair of the International Regulatory Strategy Group (IRSG), where she has made impactful contributions to the financial sector.
