Kavita Chandra

Kavita Chandra is a highly accomplished Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group in Chicago. She brings a wealth of expertise in materials science, with a strong educational background including a Ph.D. in Material Science Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Prior to her current role, Kavita Chandra has enriched her professional experience through various positions. She served as a Consultant at BCG and as a Christine Mirzayan Science And Technology Policy Graduate Fellow at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Additionally, she was a Cluster Trainee at NIH Biotechnology Predoctoral Training Program and a Doctoral Researcher at Northwestern University.

Kavita's academic pursuits have been equally impressive. She completed her Ph.D. in Material Science at Northwestern University, focusing on nanoparticle synthesis with bio-medical applications. Her undergraduate studies at MIT in Material Science Engineering laid a solid foundation for her future successes.

In addition to her academic and professional roles, Kavita Chandra has also contributed to the field of entrepreneurship as an Entrepreneurship Co-Instructor at MIT Accelerating Information Technology Initiative, now known as Global Startup Labs.
