As the founding Executive Director of Young Futures (YF), a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing youth wellbeing in the digital era, Katya focuses on supporting youth and families to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. YF provides grants to non-profits and grassroots organizations working towards creating a better world for young individuals and parents.

Prior to her role at Young Futures, Katya served as a core team member and Chief Impact Officer at StartUp Health, a pioneering organization dedicated to tackling significant health issues worldwide. Her contributions significantly expanded StartUp Health's global reach, with a portfolio that included 500 companies across 30 countries.

Katya's professional journey also includes instrumental roles in various startups, where she played a pivotal part in the growth and acquisition of fintech ventures by leading Fortune 500 companies. Her early career at investment bank CIBC laid a solid foundation for her passion for driving impact-driven initiatives.

Katya Hancock's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and her high school education at Monta Vista High School.
