Katy Vickland is a seasoned leader with a proven track record in new business development, specializing in reducing poverty and fostering economic growth globally. With a focus on creating opportunities through innovative market-led solutions, Katy collaborates with donors and businesses on local and international levels. Her expertise lies in strategic planning, public-private partnerships, workforce development, value chain upgrading, and youth engagement, all aimed at building prosperous communities and improving living standards worldwide. Katy holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor's in Economics from Carleton College. She currently serves as the Director of Youth and Workforce Development at Palladium, having previously held key positions at Creative Associates International, CARANA Corporation, and SRI International.
