Katy Roby Peters

Katy Peters is a highly qualified individual with an impressive resume. After graduating from Poway High School, she pursued her passion for learning, focusing on Global and International Studies with a concentration in the Middle East region at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She continued her studies and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Mary's College of California, where she was also a Big West scholar-athlete.

Her career started in Marketing Communications, Strategy, and PR. Over the years, she has worked in multiple industries and developed numerous passions and interests. Her most recent work was with YALLA SD, a refugee organization that uses education technology and soccer to help refugee youth acclimate and become influential community leaders.

Currently, Katy is the Global Head of Marketing at Valamis, a Finnish-based company that focuses on the digital transformation of learning and its impact on businesses. Valamis learning experience platform (LXP) leverages the most engaging forms of eLearning to train employees, customers, students, and partners more efficiently. Her experience in marketing software platforms includes Hubspot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics.

Katy has a broad skill set that includes Enterprise software (SaaS) marketing, Public relations, Product marketing, Marketing operations, Digital/online marketing strategies, Content marketing, Demand generation, Corporate branding, Event management, Partnership development, Employer branding, Client nurture strategy, and Cross-cultural analysis.
