Katie Swanson is a Seattle-based designer with a passion for user experience and creative problem-solving. With over nine years of experience in the product development lifecycle, Swanson's work has centered on creating exceptionally useful products that perform as great as they look. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Interaction Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as an associate's degree in Digital Media - Commercial Graphics from Trident Technical College. Swanson's educational background also includes Business Administration studies at Henry Ford College.

Swanson has held various positions throughout her career, with her current role being Senior Product Designer at Microsoft. She was also previously the Design Lead for Product Marketing at Expedia, Inc., Senior Visual Designer at Sudo Technologies, Inc., Visual Designer for Amazon Restaurants and Company's Consumables division, and UX Designer for CCX/Treasure Truck at Amazon. She's also worked as a Graphic Designer at Eat It and Like It, a Sponsored Studio Graphic Designer at The Coca-Cola Company and Hewlett-Packard, a Freelance Designer at katieswanson.design, and a Program Manager/Marketing Support Specialist at Continental Dining Service.
