Katie Mrics

Katie Smith MBA MRICS is the Head of Property Department for the REED Group, overseeing acquisitions, disposals, day-to-day management, and maintenance of a diverse portfolio spanning 8 countries.

With a background in Real Estate and Management, Katie holds an MBA in Construction and Property from UCEM, adding to her credentials as a Chartered Surveyor, specializing in Corporate Real Estate.

Currently serving as a Non-Executive Committee Member of the RICS Nominations Committee, Katie has a rich educational background, including a Master's in Management from Durham University Business School and a Bachelor's in Ancient History and History from the University of Leicester.

Her professional journey includes key roles like Head of Group Property, Graduate Training Scheme Manager, and Resourcing Consultant at REED, alongside experiences in media sales, event management, and union leadership during her academic years.
