Katie Rock

Katie Rock is an attorney and entrepreneur who founded Rock Legal in 2016.12 She currently serves as the Founder and Managing Partner of the firm, which handles high-volume agreements for private equity firms and provides outside general counsel services to startups.1

Prior to founding Rock Legal, Katie's career included:

• Head of Legal at Cargomatic, Inc. (2015-2016)1
• Founder, CEO, and General Counsel at Activyst (2012-2015)1
• Attorney and Project Manager at World Health Organization (2010-2012)1
• Attorney at Latham & Watkins (2007-2010)1

Katie holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from Gonzaga University, where she graduated magna cum laude.1

In addition to her legal work, Katie has been involved in advocacy for girls' sports in developing countries. She founded Activyst, a socially-conscious company that made athletic bags for women and supported girls' sports programs worldwide.3

Katie is fluent in Spanish and has experience working in Nicaragua during her time with the World Health Organization.13
