Katie Perumbeti is a dynamic city planner and environmental expert whose work demonstrates a commitment to creating healthy and connected communities. With a background in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and an MS in City & Regional Planning with specializations in Environment & Health and Urban Design from Georgia Institute of Technology, Katie is well-equipped to take on complex challenges. She has worked as a Lifelong Communities Coordinator at the Atlanta Regional Commission, as well as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development, where her research focused on equitable distribution of resources and access to greenspace in urban areas. She has also worked as a Planning Intern at Alta Planning + Design and a Senior Consultant at Trinity Consultants. Katie is highly adaptable, and her work showcases an ability to tackle a diverse array of problems.
