Katie Owens is a recent graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington, where she earned degrees in both environmental and sustainability studies and journalism. During her time at university, she honed her expertise in environmental studies, conservation and policy, and ecology while studying abroad through the IES program. She has worked in a variety of roles, including as a part-time associate at Schott Design, Inc., an employee at Twenty Tap, a horticulture intern at the U.S. Forest Service, a sustainability scholar at Indiana University's Office of Sustainability, and an urban naturalist at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. Owens is a promising young professional with a deep passion for environmental issues and sustainability.
