Katie McDougall has a diverse background with a blend of teaching and writing experiences shaping her career. Katie pursued her education by completing an MFA in Creative Writing at Colorado State University and earning a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Colorado College.
She has contributed to various organizations, including founding and coordinating Sense of Place Workshops, serving as a Master Teacher in Residence at The Island School in Cape Eleuthera, Bahamas, teaching literature at Ensworth High School, and co-founding The Porch Writers' Collective.
