Katie Malbon

Katie Malbon is a General Paediatrician with a wealth of experience in Adolescent Medicine, Sexual Health, Technology/Text Messaging, Rheumatology, and Mental Health.

Originally trained in the UK, Katie later moved to New York, where she completed a Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center and worked as an Attending for two and a half years.

During her time at Mount Sinai, she developed a pioneering text messaging program called 'Text in the City' aimed at improving patient care.

After Mount Sinai, Katie tried Private Practice as a General Pediatrician, focusing on Adolescent care, at Tribeca Pediatrics in New York.

She also served as the President of the New York Chapter of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (NYSAHM) showcasing her leadership and advocacy skills.

Now back in the UK, Katie is a Consultant General Paediatrician at St. Mary's Hospital, London, which is part of Imperial College NHS Healthcare.

At St. Mary's Hospital, she holds various key roles including being the lead for Adolescent Medicine Trust-wide, the Named Doctor for Children's Safeguarding, and the Chair of the Mental Health steering group, emphasizing her commitment to holistic healthcare.

Additionally, she leads the Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology services, showcasing her expertise in a wide range of medical specialties.

Katie Malbon studied Medicine at The University of Manchester, honing her skills and knowledge in the field.
