Katie Hopkisson

Katie Hopkisson is a dedicated Technology Risk Consultant at KPMG, specializing in external IT audits for multi-national financial services firms, particularly in the Insurance sector. She holds a 2.1 MEng in Medical (Mechanical) Engineering from the University of Leeds, graduating in 2018. Katie has also recently achieved the ICAEW CFAB qualification.

Katie's educational background includes a Certificate in Finance, Accounting, and Business from ICAEW and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering with a 2.1 distinction from the University of Leeds.

Professionally, Katie has held key roles at KPMG UK, starting as a Data Analyst, progressing to Technology Risk Consultant, and currently serving as an Assistant Manager. Additionally, she has been actively involved in the Leeds University Union Women's Hockey Club, where she served as Alumni Sec, Hockey Coach, and 1st XI Captain. Prior to her career at KPMG, Katie gained experience as an Admin Assistant at Nurture Fertility.
