Kati Moore

Kati Moore is a science communicator with vast experience in the field. Based in Durham, NC, she holds a Master of Environmental Management, Ecosystem Science and Conservation from Duke University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

With a passion for science communication, Kati has worked with various organizations such as the Society for the Study of Evolution, where she currently serves as Communications Manager. She has also worked as a Digests Editor for the journal Evolution and a Freelance Writer for Natural History Magazine, where she wrote for their Sampling and Natural Moment sections.

Apart from that, Kati has held positions such as Communications Intern at Conservation Trust for North Carolina, Co-Editor in Chief at eno Magazine, Communications Assistant at Nicholas School of the Environment, and Blogger at Nicholas School of the Environment. She also served as the Publicity Officer at UNC Women's Glee Club, Intern at UNC Nutrition Research Institute's Office of Community Outreach, and Intern at Kannapolis Citizen.
