Kathy also has a strong background in user experience, having held positions like VP User Experience at Virilion and Senior Knowledge Engineer at Brightware.

She has been actively involved in the development of accessibility standards, having been a part of the WCAG 2.0 Working Group and the Mobile Accessibility Task Force at W3C.
