Kathy Vetter is a key member of the News Leadership Team at McClatchy, where she holds the position of deputy to the vice president of News. In this capacity, she manages a wide array of responsibilities including overseeing regional editors, the Washington Bureau, the national reporting team, as well as coordinating efforts with shared news teams and collaborating closely with McClatchy's 30 newsrooms to enhance digital strategy, audience growth, and technology utilization.
Kathy pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Communications from Baylor University, providing her with a solid foundation in the field.
