Kathy Trieu
Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at The George Institute for Global Health, University of New South Wales
Dr. Kathy Trieu is an accomplished public health professional with a strong educational background. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Health, a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a High Distinction average, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Nutrition combined with Sport and Exercise Science, all from the University of Sydney. She also pursued studies at Meriden School.
She has held various roles at The George Institute for Global Health, including Research Fellow, Research Associate in the Food Policy Division, and PhD Candidate. Prior to that, she served as a Research Assistant in the Food Policy team. Her experience extends to governmental organizations, having worked as a Graduate Departmental Officer at the Australian Department of Health.
Dr. Trieu's career also includes involvement with academia, where she worked as a Research Assistant at the Prevention Research Collaboration at The University of Sydney. Her commitment to health promotion is evident in her role as the Go4Fun Program Group and Nutrition Leader at NSW Health.
