Kathy Tafel

Kathy Tafel is a seasoned technology leader with a background in engineering and editorial management. With a BA in English Literature and Philosophy of Language from UC Berkeley, Kathy has extensive experience leading high-volume app development teams across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows. She has led engineering teams at companies like Native Instruments and Meetup, as well as held positions at Apple, Imagine Publishing, and American Express. Kathy has also founded companies like Corpus Collusion and MT Space, where she has designed and developed software architecture. In her current role as Head of Engineering at Mobimeo, Kathy continues to drive innovation and leadership development. With a passion for making technology more accessible and user-friendly, Kathy is dedicated to coaching and mentoring the next generation of technology professionals.
