Kathy Szaj
Kathy Szaj is an experienced educator, instructional designer, coach, and writer/editor. She holds a M.Ed. in Education from Eastern New Mexico University and a B.A. in Spanish and Secondary Education from Alverno College. With over twenty years of experience, Kathy has taught at various academic levels, from high school to graduate school, and has designed interdisciplinary curriculums with a focus on leadership, business, ethics, and storytelling. She also specializes in life calling coaching, helping individuals to identify and match their unique gifts with specific careers. As a writer, she has authored several children's books, including I Hate Goodbyes and Elizabeth, Who Is NOT a Saint, and has curated collections of children's books that emphasize social, emotional, and spiritual learning. With a deep understanding of ethical leadership, Kathy has previously worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Lehman College, Lead Writer at The World of Jane NOT Plain/Adventures to Awesome, and Instructor and Mentor at Mercy College. In addition, she has worked as a teacher at Notre Dame High School and Educational Outreach Program Director at The Open Book Theatre Company.
