Kathy Jones

Kathy Jones is a skilled project manager and scrum master with over 12 years of experience working closely with both internal and customer teams to deliver on-time and on-budget products and solutions. With a passion for training and mentoring direct reports, Kathy works tirelessly on improving collaboration between teams to create a better work environment. She has extensive experience in engagement management, including product specifications and requirements, design, production, QA and ongoing improvements with a focus on aligning teams to the most valuable work. A curious learner, Kathy constantly updates her skills on new technologies and processes. Kathy received her education from Azusa Pacific University, studying an Associates in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Arts in English. Prior to her position as Manager, Elastic Engineering Engagements at Onica, a Rackspace Technology Company, she worked as a Lead Engagement Manager, Technical Account Manager, and Project Manager – all at Onica. Before joining Onica, she was a Project Manager & QA Manager at Readz: Easy & Effective Web Publishing, a Senior Content Operations Specialist at CityGrid Media, and Content Project Manager at Geodelic Systems, Inc. Perhaps most interestingly, Kathy also worked as an English Instructor at Fuzoku Junior High School and Head English Instructor at System Clinic Fukui in Japan before pivoting towards her current career.
