Kathryn McDonald
Kathryn McDonald is an accomplished sustainability leader and consultant, with a well-rounded educational background in environmental management, sustainable business practices, and geography. She has a Post Graduate Diploma of Science (PGDipSci) in Environmental Management from the University of Auckland, where she also completed her undergraduate degree in Geography. Kathryn is currently pursuing a Master's degree in LCA and Footprinting at Massey University, and has already worked for some of New Zealand's most respected engineering and sustainability consulting firms.
Before joining Opus International Consultants, where she currently serves as the Company Sustainability Leader, Kathryn worked as an Environmental and Sustainability Consultant for the same firm. She also previously served as a Consents and Compliance Officer for the Auckland Regional Council, as well as Admin and Research Assistant for Harrison Grierson Consultants Ltd.
Kathryn's experience and expertise include sustainable business, environmental management, LCA and footprinting, project management, consent compliance, and research. She has a keen interest in sustainability and helping organizations incorporate sustainable practices into their operations.
