Kathleen Shanahan

Kathleen Shanahan is a seasoned health librarian with a strong background in writing and editing consumer health information, content management, and reference services.

She holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science with a specialization in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Master's degree in Pacific International Affairs from the University of California San Diego, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Kathleen has worked as a Health Librarian (contractor) at MedlinePlus within the National Library of Medicine at LAC Group. Previously, she served as a Project Manager at Bixal and held roles as a Reference Librarian at the National Library of Medicine and the American University Library.
