Kathleen Myers, a seasoned professional, has held significant roles in various organizations throughout her career. She is the co-founder and former president of de Bono Thinking Systems (dBTS), a company focused on publishing Edward de Bono's corporate training programs globally. Under her leadership, dBTS expanded from inception to engaging over 800 corporate trainers in 45 countries. Edward de Bono is renowned for his methodologies on fostering creativity and collaboration in workplace settings, notably through processes like Six Thinking Hats and Lateral Thinking.
Prior to her tenure at dBTS, Kathleen excelled as the Vice President and Editor-in-Chief at Perfection Learning Corporation, a prominent publisher of resources for K-12 educators. Her experience in the educational sector contributed to her foundation in developing materials to support classroom teachers. Kathleen kickstarted her career after completing a BA in English and Psychology at the University of Iowa, where she also nurtured her passion for creative writing and American Literature.
Divulging further into her professional journey, Kathleen served as the Vice President of Marketing at Fort Hill Company, showcasing her expertise in strategic marketing and business development. Additionally, she founded Myers House, a company dedicated to enhancing employee engagement and talent development within businesses, demonstrating her commitment to fostering organizational growth and success. Although retired now, Kathleen remains open to informal connections and discussions, reflecting her enduring interest in sharing knowledge and experiences with others.
