Katherine Reuther
Educator at Columbia University
Katherine Reuther is an experienced educator at the intersection of engineering, medicine, and business, with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship in medicine. She holds a Ph.D. in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as a research assistant, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Columbia Business School. With an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from The College of New Jersey, she has accumulated a broad range of expertise in the field.
Reuther has held various roles in academia and the biomedical industry. Currently, she is a senior lecturer in design, innovation, and entrepreneurship at Columbia University in the City of New York. She previously served as director of the Columbia Biomedical Technology Accelerator (BiomedX), co-founder of Syntegrity Biomedical, and a consultant at Biocomx. Additionally, she served as the director of master's studies in biomedical engineering and is now the former co-director of Columbia Biomedical Technology Accelerator.
