Katherine Leary Alsdorf is a prominent figure in the integration of faith and work, serving as the founder and former Executive Director of the Center for Faith & Work (CFW) at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. She established the CFW in 2002 and led it for the first decade, during which she developed various initiatives aimed at helping individuals connect their faith with their professional lives, including the Gotham Fellowship and Entrepreneurship Initiative.12
Before her ministry work, Alsdorf had a successful 20-year career in the high-tech industry, holding leadership roles such as CEO of Pensare, Inc. and One Touch Systems, Inc., and president of Private Satellite Network. She holds an MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia and a BA in Psychology and Education from Wittenberg University.13
After stepping down from her role at CFW in 2012, she continued to influence faith and work ministries across various churches. Recently, she returned to lead the CFW again to provide stability following leadership changes within the organization. Her work focuses on expanding the theological vision and programs of CFW to serve a broader community of churches.23
