Katherine Crowley is a highly accomplished mathematician with a diverse educational background and experience in academia and public policy.
She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from Rice University, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from St. Olaf College, and has also studied at Eötvös Loránd University and Middlebury College.
Katherine has served in various prestigious roles, including as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Washington and Lee University, St. Olaf College, and Columbia University.
She has also contributed to the field of science and technology policy as an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy, and as an AMS/AAAS Congressional Fellow at the United States Senate.
