Dr. Katharine K. Wilkinson is a renowned author, strategist, and teacher known for her efforts to heal the planet. She has authored several books, including the New York Times bestseller Drawdown and co-edited All We Can Save, an anthology of writings by women climate leaders. Dr. Wilkinson is also the principal writer and editor-in-chief at Project Drawdown, leading the organization's work to share climate solutions globally. She has made numerous media appearances and speaks widely on platforms such as National Geographic, Skoll World Forum, and the United Nations. A Rhodes Scholar, she has a doctorate in geography and environment from the University of Oxford and a BA in religion from Sewanee: The University of the South, where she is a visiting professor. Dr. Wilkinson serves on the boards of the Doc Society, Chattahoochee Now, and Wild Ark and advises several climate-related initiatives. In 2019, Time Magazine named her one of 15 "women who will save the world." Dr. Wilkinson is happiest on a mountain or a horse, and she collaborates with Mary Robinson and others to advance the feminist climate renaissance.
