Katerin Osorio

Katerin Osorio is an Electrical Engineer with a diverse professional background spanning various aspects of the industry. She has worked on evaluating renewable energy projects, structuring resolutions for project requirements, managing Generation Expansion Plans, and implementing Long Term Contracting Auctions.

Katerin has extensive experience as a resident engineer for rural electrification projects and public lighting works in different locations in Colombia. She is known for her proactive, responsible, persevering, and hard-working nature, with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

Her academic qualifications include a Specialist degree in Electrical Power Distribution Systems, an Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, and proficiency in English as a foreign language.

Katerin has held various roles such as Regulatory Coordinator at Renewable Energies Association Colombia, and positions at Mining and Energy Planning Unit where she supported the Generation Expansion Plan and CLPE Auction, and evaluated FNCER projects for Tax Incentives among others.
