Katelyn Cano

Katelyn Cano is a professional with a background in Applied Anthropology, holding both a BA and MA. Her focus is on Business Anthropology, and she currently serves as a UX researcher at Postman, specializing in usability and foundational research. Prior to her current role, Katelyn gained experience at Twitter, leading diverse research projects related to the Twitter API, and she has a passion for extracting customer insights on enterprise product usage.

Apart from her work in the tech industry, Katelyn is also an author, having written a book titled 'More than Before,' a guide for first-generation college students based on her personal journey. This book is available in various formats and is widely used in educational institutions and non-profit organizations on the West Coast.

Katelyn's skill set spans across research, writing, editing, sales, marketing, and social media. She has experience in community management, community engagement, and product growth, further enriching her professional profile.

In terms of education, Katelyn pursued her Master of Arts in Anthropology at California State University-East Bay, building on her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from San Francisco State University. Her academic journey began with a High School Diploma from Foothill High School.

Throughout her career, Katelyn has held positions at various organizations, including roles as a Senior UX Researcher at Chronosphere, UX Researcher at Postman, and User Researcher at Twitter. She has also contributed as a Usability Analyst at Twitter, User Researcher and Community Manager at Vevo, and in roles involving community/social management, research analysis, business development, and business operations at companies like Pickstream, Inc, DCKAP Technologies, WorkGoal, and Adteractive.
