Kate Tsoi

Kate Tsoi is an Investment Manager at The Mills Fabrica, where she focuses on investments in agrifood technology and techstyle (a blend of technology and lifestyle, particularly in textiles and biomaterials) with a strong emphasis on social and environmental impact. She leads the investment efforts at The Mills Fabrica, which is known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation in these sectors.12

Before joining The Mills Fabrica, Kate worked as a hedge fund consultant at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, where she assisted hedge fund startups and global managers in expanding their businesses in Asia. Additionally, she was a Fellow at Mana Impact Partners in Singapore, conducting investment research on carbon markets and regenerative agriculture.13

Kate holds an MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge, where she was a Youde Scholar, and a B.B.A. in Global Business Studies with First Class Honours from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.12 Beyond her professional roles, she is passionate about developing blended finance strategies for social and climate impact and has been involved in various cross-sector financing projects across Asia and the UK.1

In her personal endeavors, Kate is also known for her involvement with NarrativeHK, an initiative aimed at fostering a positive outlook among the younger generation regarding the future of Hong Kong.1
