Kate Towsey

Kate Towsey is a prominent figure in the field of research operations, known for her contributions to democratizing user research and promoting inclusive design. With over a decade of experience, she has played a significant role in shaping research operations globally. In 2018, she founded the ResearchOps Community and initiated the #WhatisResearchOps movement, which helped raise awareness and establish the practice within the industry.12

Currently, Kate serves as the Director at her own consultancy, kate–towsey, where she advises organizations on building systematic research practices that yield measurable results. She is also recognized for her work with Atlassian, where she has been instrumental in developing a global Research Operations team.
