Kate Tews

Kate Tews is a seasoned brand strategist, creative director, copywriter, and account director with a demonstrated history of success in the creative industry. She studied Bachelor of Arts in English, American Literature at Harvard University and Writing at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. Her professional expertise includes leadership and innovation, brand strategy, positioning and development, qualitative interviews/research, work process creation/improvement, creative direction and messaging, creative collaboration, business development, and staff development and management. Kate has extensive experience in studio operations, developing firm infrastructures, reviewing leases and contracts, defining scopes of work, and estimating fees. She is currently the Studio Director at Altitude Design Office and a former collaborator with Egg Office and Reverb at The Laster Group. Kate was also the Principal at The Laster Group and held several executive positions at Virgin Records and A&M Records, including Vice President, Advertising and Merchandising, Senior Director, Advertising and Merchandising, Director of Advertising and Merchandising, and Marketing Writer and Producer, Creative Services Department.
