Her professional journey includes roles at prominent institutions like the U.S. House of Representatives, USAID, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

With experience as a Communications Director, Legislative Assistant, and Research Assistant, Kate has honed her skills in communication, legislative affairs, and research.

She has also contributed her expertise as an Intern at Albright Stonebridge Group and Humanities Texas, showcasing her adaptability and commitment to learning.

During her tenure at The Daily Tar Heel as an Editorial Board Member and Columnist, Kate demonstrated her passion for journalism and editorial work.
