Kate Schulman

Kate Schulman is the Senior Communications Manager for the Universal Access Project at the United Nations Foundation. She is responsible for leading communications strategies focusing on improving girls' and women's access to reproductive health globally. Kate also oversees the Private Sector Action for Women's Health and Empowerment initiative, engaging companies to enhance women's well-being in global supply chains. Prior to her current role, she served as an Account Supervisor at Ketchum, handling successful national and international campaigns for corporate, government, and trade association clients. Kate's expertise lies in corporate affairs, social responsibility, reputation management, and media relations, with a focus on campaigns at the intersection of government, business, and consumer interests. She has also contributed her skills to crisis communications at LEVICK and worked with healthcare, nonprofit, and corporate clients at MWW Group and Environics Communications. Throughout her career, Kate has been recognized with multiple industry awards, including several Silver Anvils, SABRE Awards, PRISM Awards, and In2 SABRE Awards for her outstanding campaigns.
