Katelyn Romanov

Kate Romanov is an aspiring educator with a solid academic background in Environmental Studies and Health & Wellness Education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College and is currently pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree with a specialization in Health & Wellness Education at the American College of Education.

Kate's educational journey has been enriched by various immersive experiences, including studying Sustainable Development in Costa Rica & Nicaragua at the School for Field Studies, Sustainability & Marine Conservation at The Island School, and Renewable Energy Systems in Iceland at the School for International Training.

In addition to her academic achievements, Kate has gained practical experience in the field of education through roles such as Student Teacher at Neah-Kah-Nie School District, Assistant Teacher at Oregon Episcopal School, and Paraeducator at San Francisco Unified School District.

Furthermore, Kate has made significant contributions to environmental organizations, having served as a Communications Fellow at Solar Mosaic, 'America's Next Eco-Star' Fellow at SmartPower, Communications & Outreach Lead at Middlebury College Solar Decathlon, and Energy Intern at Community Environmental Council.

Driven by a passion for teaching and environmental advocacy, Kate Romanov is poised to make a positive impact on the lives of elementary school students by integrating her knowledge of environmental sustainability and wellness education into her teaching practices.
