Kate Rizzo is an experienced Event Planner with over 17 years of expertise in planning and managing a wide range of in-house and external events for NBME, a not-for-profit organization focused on healthcare professional assessments.

Starting her career at a boutique planning firm, Kate transitioned to NBME where she has been instrumental for the past 8 years in strategic event planning, execution, and administration.

Kate Rizzo's professional achievements include certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM), and Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP), showcasing her dedication to continuous learning and development in the event planning industry.

With a background in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Delaware, Kate Rizzo brings a diverse skill set and a unique perspective to her role as an Event Planner.

An active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Kate enjoys volunteering and has a passion for the event industry that stems from her collegiate experiences, including being a member of a university a cappella group.
