Kate Proud

Kate Proud is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background. She has a Master's Degree in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development with a specialization in Gender and Development from The Australian National University. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Arts with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management and Development Studies from the University of Melbourne.

Kate has an impressive track record of working with various organizations that include the Department of Education & Training, Victoria, the Australian Red Cross, The Fred Hollows Foundation, CARE Australia, and Conservation International, among others. She has held several crucial positions such as Senior Evaluation Officer, Impact Advisor, National Monitoring & Evaluation Practice Lead, Senior Program Officer, Emergency WASH Support, Gender Advisor, and Communications Support Officer, among others.

Kate's experience spans across various domains, including evaluation, policy, impact assessment and monitoring and development work, with a particular emphasis on gender and social inclusion. She is a skilled consultant with significant experience in brand/strategy/innovation and has worked with the Growth Solutions Group and Iconic Consulting. Moreover, Kate has extensive experience working with young professionals and various networks; she served as the Young Professionals Network Manager of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.
