Kate Owen

Kate Owen is an accomplished creative professional with a strong background in textile design and arts. She attained a BA Hons in Textile Design with a focus on Knitted Textiles from Central St. Martins, where she graduated with a 2:1. Prior to this, she completed a Foundation degree in Fine/Studio Arts at the Bristol School of Art, achieving a Merit.

Throughout her career, Kate has held various roles in the fashion and textile industry. She currently operates under her own brand, Kate Owen, as a Designer and Maker. Previously, she has worked at renowned fashion houses like Roland Mouret and Karen Millen in diverse fabric-related positions, including Fabric Buyer, Fabric Compliance Coordinator, and Fabric Buying Assistant. Kate's experience also extends to teaching, having served as a Quilting Teacher at Sew Over It.
