I believe unwaveringly that a single photograph has the power to slow your life down. A photograph holds balance and perspective through the artistry of light mixed with personality. Knowing that styles will come and go with the years, images should be timeless, spanning the transience of trends.By trade I am a photographer, who shoots with a perennial simplicity. By passion I am a traveler, a sister and a folk-music enthusiast who happens to use a lens as my medium.Photojournalism has been my school of thought, honing my ability to capture photos that exist as representations of the emotions and actions within any given frame. As much as I value authenticity and balance in my own life, I evoke this same vision in each photograph, for each client.After spending two post-graduation years taking photos throughout Africa, I am now nesting in Richmond, where I am building a community of friends, compulsively scouring antique stores, and feverishly searching for travel deals.As long as stories are being told, I will continue to shoot; meeting a vast array of photographic needs from overseas photojournalism to regional portraiture and weddings.Nice to meet you.
