Kate Laughton

Kate Laughton is a talented individual with a wealth of experience in the field of accounting and business management. She studied at Santa Clara University and the University of Cape Town, where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with Honors, focusing on Accounting and Business Management. She attended Miramonte High School before advancing her career.

Kate has worked with several organizations over the years, including EAB, Deloitte, San Jose Office of Economic Development, PwC, and Alvarez & Marsal. In her role as Senior Analyst, Strategy & New Ventures at EAB, Kate was responsible for overseeing the development and execution of new business initiatives. Previously, while working as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, she provided advisory services to her clients, helping them to identify and solve complex business problems.

Kate is also passionate about community development and has volunteered in several capacities. She worked as a community fellow at the San Jose Office of Economic Development, where she collaborated with various stakeholders to promote economic growth in the region. Kate is an excellent communicator, and her experience as an Executive Board Member & Peer Advisor at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business helped her hone her leadership and mentoring skills.
