Developed and delivered the communication and branding strategy for the largest DFAT funded program in Timor-Leste, with investments in health, education, social protection, hygiene and sanitation, nutrition disability inclusion and gender equality. 

Managed a team to produce short films for broadcast on TV and distribution on social media:
• Advocacy and awareness raising - Covering topics such as what number to call for an ambulance, how to properly wash your hands with soap and prevention of COVID-19 for people with disabilities. 
• Public diplomacy - Highlighting Australia’s bilateral education partnership program with Timor-Leste and showcasing the joint commitment to Inclusive Education for all Timorese students, both films feature interviews with the Australian Ambassador and Timor-Leste’s Minister of Education. 

Writing, editing, design and photography for the Annual Plan, Six-Monthly Presentation, Annual Report, promotional brochures, socialisation materials, training guidelines and advocacy tools. 

Produced communications materials for high-level meetings, including presentation designs for Timor-Leste’s Council of Ministers advocating for action and reforms. 

Successfully delivered on urgent timeframes for DFAT’s COVID-19 response, providing communications expertise and graphic design support for the Government of Timor-Leste’s emergency household cash transfer including pamphlets, banners, and training materials, guidelines for COVID-19 prevention and a process for safely distributing cash payments.

DISTINCTDAILY is a creative platform connecting and supporting an active, ever-growing, network of creative minds -- providing a place to share work, inspirations, & aspirations with a wider audience. 

• Spearheaded and built the DistinctDaily social media channels, community engagement guidelines and email marketing strategy from inception through eight months post-app and website launch
• Sourced visual content and wrote the copy for all DistinctDaily posts, monitored and evaluated social media statistics for improved reach, responded to all incoming questions across multiple channels
• Collaborated with featured creatives on contests and cross-promotional opportunities on their social media channels resulting in a combined influencer reach to an audience of over one million users

• Ran social media outreach for yummico, a children’s media company, to aid in successfully funding a $75,000 Kickstarter campaign for an animated nutrition education TV series
• Managed a social media and email marketing campaign sponsorship with Northside Technology and Music Festival in Brooklyn, NY for the beta launch of Cornbread, a new location-based social media app 
• Worked with FoodNotes (formerly Piqniq), a new food app, to engage with the Portland food community and potential users through social media channels and events. Doubled engagement and following on the Instagram account, curated user interviews for blog posts, and secured food and beverage sponsorship for events

Night & Day Studios is an iOS and Android mobile development house building proprietary products for kids and families, partnering with licensors such as Sesame Street and Warner Brothers, and collaborating with clients such as Mattel. 

• Conducted market analysis of existing app content, examined gaps in product availability, and reviewed analytics on Night & Day Studio apps to shape RFP responses, new proprietary apps, and marketing initiatives
• Cultivated dynamic relationships with contacts at Apple, Amazon, Nook, and Google resulting in promotional opportunities and prominent feature placement of apps within each platform’s app store
• Planned and executed new app launches including: app submission, designing marketing and social media campaigns, conducting extensive press outreach, and overseeing the creation of marketing collateral. All new apps have ranked in the Top 10 in the Education category of the App Store on launch week.
• Ran social media strategy through the creation and maintenance of a posting schedule, expansion of fan-base and engagement on Facebook and Twitter, the launch of Instagram and Pinterest accounts, and implementation of social media listening tools and analytic tracking
• Collaborated with brand licensors such as Sesame Workshop, HarperCollins, The World of Eric Carle, Richard Scarry, and Warner Brothers Publishing to enhance product launches, increase sales, and create additional promotional opportunities. Ex. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day promotion resulted in +100K downloads of the Counting with the Very Hungry Caterpillar app in a single day.
• Curated and tracked the in-app “More Apps” promotional program to enhance the revenue stream by tailoring additional app suggestions to the existing Night & Day customer base of over 4 million users

Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare is one of the largest non-profit mental health care service providers in the state of Oregon. During my time with Cascadia, I worked at an innovative new facility functioning as both a diversion to and step-down from the state mental health hospital, offering comprehensive physical and mental health services to live-in clients. 

My role included: 
• Drafting and implementing detailed care plans for clients with severe mental illness 
• Establishing a network of service providers, social supports and medical care providers for clients
