Kate Karas

Kate Karas is an experienced legal professional who has worked with early stage, mid-stage, and mature private and public companies. She is currently the Deputy General Counsel at SecondMarket, where she offers legal and business expertise to the digital marketplace. Kate has a strong educational background with a JD from Northwestern University School of Law and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Pomona College. She has also held various leadership positions, including General Counsel at ProFounder, Senior Associate General Counsel at Lending Club, and now, General Counsel at Chime. With her extensive experience in advising companies on legal matters, Kate is highly knowledgeable and brings a wealth of industry insights to the table.
