Katalin Walter is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in banking, corporate law, finance, and strategic leadership.

She holds a Dr. rer. pol degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, along with a Dipl. Kauffrau also from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.

Katalin served as the Chief Executive Officer at BKK Budapesti Közlekedési Központ and previously held the same position at Budapest City Holding. She also has experience as the Senior Vice President and COO at Central European University.

With a strong business acumen, Katalin Walter has worked in various leadership roles, including Regional Chief Business Officer CEE at Allianz, Head of Strategy at Erste Bank Hungary, and PMM Program Director at Erste Bank Hungary.

Her expertise extends to strategic planning, as evidenced by her role as Chief of Staff to Gordon Bajnai at Együtt party. Additionally, she has contributed as a Member of the Board at UNICEF Magyar Bizottság and as a Partner at McKinsey & Company.
