Kat Cheng is a dynamic and multi-talented senior at Crean Lutheran High School, with aspirations to major in engineering or computer science. Fusing her passions for technology and the performing arts, she has carved out a unique academic and extracurricular path that showcases her leadership skills and dedication to both STEM and the arts. As the founder and president of STEM Sisters—a high school club designed to empower girls interested in STEM—Kat has been pivotal in creating a supportive community that fosters collaboration and skill development among young women in these fields.
In addition to her leadership role at STEM Sisters, Kat is also a three-time Kode With Klossy alumni, where she honed her skills in web development, mobile development, and data science. Her involvement with Kode With Klossy reflects her commitment to enhancing her technical skills and making technology accessible to others. Currently, she serves as the Curriculum Director for AIHacks II, a student-run hackathon where she plays a crucial role in educational development and event organization.

At Crean Lutheran High School, Kat has actively engaged in various programs that support her passion for performing arts. She dances on the Varsity Hip Hop team, sings with the Honors Worship band, and has taken leading roles in school musicals. This involvement reflects her artistic talent and commitment to contributing to the cultural fabric of her school community.
