Kashif Riaz, CFA

Kashif Riaz is a accomplished Portfolio Manager with a wealth of experience in Fixed Income investments, honed during his time at BlackRock, where he currently serves as Managing Director. With a special focus on US credit investments, Kashif has worked with a broad range of active fixed income mandates, including pensions, mutual funds, and absolute return funds. His responsibilities include developing and implementing investment strategies, communicating investment themes, assessing macroeconomic and industry drivers, and driving business and organizational strategy. Prior to his current role, Kashif served as Portfolio Manager in the Financial Institutions Group at BlackRock, where he managed credit-focused portfolios for global insurance clients. Kashif was also Head of Investment Grade Credit during which he managed BlackRock's primary market activities. Before joining BlackRock in 2010, Kashif spent over 12 years at J.P. Morgan, with experience in Investment Banking, Coverage, and Debt Capital Markets. Kashif holds an MBA from Columbia University and an SB degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in Finance and Management. Kashif is also an active philanthropist, serving as a Director of two non-profit organizations, American Pakistan Foundation and I-Care Fund America.
