Karthik Venkateswaran

Karthik Venkateswaran is the Cofounder and CEO of Jumbotail, a prominent online wholesale marketplace and new retail platform focused on food and grocery in India. He has held this position since November 2015, leading efforts to innovate mobile commerce solutions tailored for diverse consumer needs in India, including access, language, selection, supply chain, and financial services.1

Professional Background

Before founding Jumbotail, Karthik gained substantial experience in product management. He served as a Senior Product Manager at Flipkart for eight months in 2014, where he focused on seller growth and relationships. Prior to that, he worked at eBay Inc. as a Senior Product Manager, where he led initiatives in search optimization and user experience.1

Education

Karthik holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he engaged in various projects related to technology and business innovation. He also earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and has a background in mathematics and physics from the National Defence Academy.1
